Which is the best option for you?

Bear in mind that the documentary has many interviews in Spanish. You will have to take your language preference into consideration.

MPEG-4 for Embedding: This option is for faculty or libraries who wish to embed the documentary in their campus network for student, faculty and staff viewing. The license is limited to embedding on networks that serve a single campus and are not accessible elsewhere.

The version furnished is has burned in English subtitles only. (Over 90% of the documentary is spoken in Spanish.) If there are requests (use the Contact Page) we will also make a version with Spanish subtitles available.

The documentary will be suppled in both 1080p and 740p versions on a BR data disc.  It will be sent by USPS first class mail. If you require a different format contact us and describe what you need.

Blu-ray Purchase: This will work well for facilities with Blu-ray players in smart classrooms or other facilities for viewing Blu-rays. The Blu-ray actually contains two high quality versions of the documentary, One is optimized for English speakers, the other is optimized for Spanish speakers (title, graphics, subtitles, credits) You can select which one to watch. Subtitles are high quality, readable fonts designed not to distract from the film imagery. You must have a Blu-ray player. Blu-rays will be sent by USPS first class mail.

DVD Purchase: This will work well for facilities with DVD players in smart classrooms or other facilities for viewing DVDs. Due to disc capacity limitations, the DVD contains a single version of the documentary but with the ability to select one of 3 subtitle options: English, Spanish or both English and Spanish. This latter bi-lingual subtitle track makes it excellent for showing to mixed English/Spanish viewers.

In the DVD version the introductory explanatory graphic is repeated first in English and then in Spanish. Headings on the primary credits are in both languages. In the bi-lingual subtitles a 30 second prayer which is spoken in Tsotsil Maya is subtitled only in English. A half dozen brief explanatory graphics appear only in English. DVDs will be sent by USPS first class mail.
